(Yang Ming) celebrated its 49th anniversary with much pageantry at its headquarters. The celebration began with an annual exhibition where attendees were able to appreciate various talents by members of Yang Ming’s internal clubs themed around badminton, bowling, billiard, golf, volleyball or photography. The fine decoration and exquisite buffet caught the attendees’ eyes and became the highlight of photos taken at this occasion. In addition, through aerial video, attendees were able to witness the efficient operation of the company's vessel, YM Wind, at Kao Ming Container Terminal (KMCT) in Kaohsiung, and appreciate how “Yang Ming delivers GOOD for life.”
Retired Yang Ming senior officials, group executives and colleagues were all invited to witness and celebrate the accomplishments of 2021. Yang Ming’s chairman noted with appreciation the commitment and devotion on the part of all colleagues on board and ashore against the backdrop of COVID-19 pandemic, and he also encouraged all to strengthen professionalism for the company’s long-term competitiveness. At the same time, Yang Ming’s president added that every employee should do their utmost to keep the company growing and earning greater profits. After the celebration, a charity flea market was held in the afternoon. The funds generated from over a thousand pieces of items donated by colleagues were given to various charitable organization for the underprivileged. Yang Ming family members are proud and happy to help people in need through real actions.
